Well, it happened.

I am so relieved.

I was worried that it wouldn’t.

But, finally…it did!

Well, I have been sitting here wondering what to blog about.  I have an idea…sharing this hilarious thing that happened this morning with my fella.

But, do I have the right to share this funny event?

He might get embarrassed.

The problem is I can’t get the image out of my head.

It won’t go away.

I have been trying to get it to go away.

I have even taken out my notebook titled “Blog Ideas” and looked through that.

Nothin’ is sparkin’ my interest.

Except what happened this morning.

Ah well, I am just gonna have to share it.

As some of you know who have been reading my blog for awhile, listening to the radio show, being one of my fabulous clients or hangin out as one of my groovy friends….I love love love slang.

I do.

If I can’t remember a word to describe something or if I don’t like the word most formally used to describe something…I tend to make words up or use some sort of slang.  Swearing also works well for filler.  I don’t have the bestest of grammar so slang is great to create sentences that are fun, light hearted and no one can really take offense at my crappy grammar!

I want to thank Professor Sherlock over at No S**t Sherlock for this “One Lovely Blog Award!” How cool is that?  I must say that I hesitated to post this…due to the fact that I am rather award shy AND that I have not been able to figure out how to post the images from the awards on my blog!

Plus, I have nothing to wear to receive the award!  Oh, wait!  It’s not that kind of award…I guess hangin out in my jammies (wearing my tiara) works just fine

The little city that I live in made it onto the Top 10 best places to live (U.S. News Magazine).  This particular list focused on places with strong economics and affordable cost of living.  The cities also needed to have tons of fun things to do~  So here we are sitting pretty in slot #7…under La Cross, Wis. and above San Luis Obispo, CA. Squirrels.

Remember the squirrel that I told you about last week…the one that was living in our attic?  Well, we had put a squirrel trap up in our attic last year to try and “fix” the whole squirrel extravaganza.  I had forgotten that we did that….until yesterday morning.

I was reading emails enjoying my yummy cup of coffee when my fella came in all flushed:
