Hey there kids.  Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Now that it is Monday morning and I just know that you have been sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for me to post this post…yes folks…it’s time!

It’s time for another installment of “6 words.”  I gotta figure out a better title :)

Today I thought it would be fun to play with 6 words that describe how you feel waking up to a spring morning.  I know that sounds kinda cheesy, but there is something about a spring morning that feels really good.

Oh…and for those of you who are waking up to Autumn (Tara and the rest of you in Australia) feel free to play with an autumn morning :)

Here is mine:

Is that bird flirtin with me?

I can smell the spring dirt.

Wake UP!  Wake UP! Coffee’s on.

Is that bunny eating my daffodiles?

Okay.  I am done.  Kind of silly…but kind of fun :)

Have a lovely morning everyone!

  1. “Is that bird flirting with me?”

    Snort! That’s “so Lynne”! :-)

    Love you.

  2. :~)

  3. I hear birds chirping, down here.

That might need a little explanation. I’m living in my sister’s basement and there are literally NO windows down here–who ever heard of such a thing? Anyway, about all I ever hear is water running and footsteps over my head but in the last week or so I’ve heard little birdies singing their little hearts out when I wake up in the morning and I have to tell you, it’s too cool for words.

Remind me about the quiet I said I don’t like when I move to Minneapolis and into an apartment in a busy neighborhood :-)

  4. The desire to finish sentences sometimes….
    :)

  5. Your humorous creativity is hard to follow Lynnes

    Let’s see:

Glad the flu has flown away
Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee
Are you sure it is morning?
Why is daddy duck all alone? (Mama duck has disappeared and daddy duck sits by the pool guarding the eggs all by himself all day long).
Where are the willow tree leaves?

As you can tell Lynne, other than our duck friends, spring is slow to arrive here. It still feels like winter, so I still wake up thinking “coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee” and “are you sure it is morning?”

You know, this word game is fun. What’s next?

Miss you my friend. Hope you’re health is hanging in there and that you’re feeling well. Love, Kerry
