Before I jump into the topic at hand, I want to tell you about an upcoming 3-day workshop that is going to be held here in Northern Colorado November 6,7th and 8th.  If you are an EFT Practitioner or someone who wants to become more skilled at using EFT on your own…we would love to have you there.  Not only is Rue Hass going to be leading a full day intensive, we have 8 other brilliant presenters from the EFT community sharing a diverse selection of topics.  The focus of this weekend is “What is healing?”  I am going to be there as well, leading a group conversation around this tender topic~  Would love to meet you face to face

Could striving for life balance be reaching for an ideal that is an illusion?

What I mean by life balance is having the various aspects that make up our lives, flowing smoothly and easily. When new experiences come into our lives that create uneasiness and chaos…invited or uninvited do we still need to be striving for balance? During this time of reaching, we are no longer being present to what is happening in the now…we are trying to BE something else. It almost seems as though this striving is a form of resistance to what is…which may intensify the feelings of uneasiness and chaos in our lives rather than bring us the peace we so desire. (more…)

I went to my doctor a couple weeks ago looking for some help with all of this hotflash…IC burning out of my mind stuff.  When she enters the room she gives me a big smile:

Doc:  “How are you feeling?”

Me: “Not so grand”

Doc: “Well, I want you to feel grand!!!”

Me:  Starting to sob. “Me too!!!! (sniff)”

I hate when that happens.  I am usually so bad ass!  But nay…this time I started bawling…couldn’t stop the tears for few minutes. (more…)

I woke up this morning, poured myself a steaming hot cup of delicious coffee and sat down to my computer.

So, I went perusing the internet.  First I looked up “hilarious spiritual jokes” found a couple funny ones.  But they were a bit too religious and since I am not in an offense mood…decided against it~  Then I looked up “hilarious jokes”  and started to look around. (more…)

Last night, I woke up to loud claps of thunder…so loud, that my windows shook.  For the next 2 1/2 hours I lay awake wondering about this, that and the other thing.
