Okay.  So, I get that I am just not as leading edge as I like to think.  The work that I do with my clients is definitely the leading edge…or the bleeding edge…of energy psychology. And I am continuously researching and reading up on new tools…etc…etc.  I love working with people assisting them in moving their lives forward.

BUT…along with this is the other side of my business.

The marketing side. Most all of my marketing is done on the internet,  which is a brain bender for my little mind!

I do pretty good with my blog.  I try to write at least twice to thrice a week (which is not so easy for me, cuz I am just not that prolific).  I visit other blogs and comment on the various conversations.  I really enjoy this part.  I love reading what other people write… (more…)

I woke up this morning to a gorgeous scene outside our bedroom window.  More snow had fallen while we slept and as the sun came up…the whole road had this amazing glow.  It just took my breath away.   This scene also seems to have taken my ability to think away because the next minute I turned towards the hall and did a running slide.  Forgetting that my foot was still recovering from this weekends skipping accident.

All I can say is that I never fully realized that my moments of joy are followed by either skipping, singing or sliding on the wood floors with my socks on…or a combination of the three. (more…)

Hi there!

My fella and I were out on a walk this last weekend.  We were both chatting about how relieved we are that our bankruptcy is all over.  Yes folks…we are now officially bankrupt!

We went to court on Friday and the trustee was a very kind, compassionate man.  He asked what brought us to this situation. I told him what happened with the insurance company…he just shook his head.  He said that he is hearing this more and more. Insurance companies denying payment due to “pre-existing conditions”  which we all know…can mean ANYTHING! (more…)

I love trees.  The ones in my own yard feel like friends, loyal friends.  I can count on them greeting me and mine at the opening of blinds each morning and then standing watch in the dark while we sleep.  Once lightening struck our grand willow.  I cried at its breaking and rejoiced at learning that half of her could be saved. Okay…so, yesterdays post was kind of intense.  Ya, I know.  The shadow can feel…ummm…. kind of painful sometimes~ Looking at the shadow can be very humbling indeedy!

Last night, I went with a friend of mine to see Debbie Ford.  I have read a few of her books and LOVE her work…she is all about the shadow.

What is the shadow?

Well, think of a person that drives you nuts…or better yet…pisses you off…or even better better yet…someone you hate!  Now, think about what you hate about that person…what are the traits that this person has that rubs you the wrong way.  It is not about the behaviors…it is about the traits. For example: let’s say that the person you are thinking of (the one who makes you want to scream!) is ALWAYS late.  Being late is a behavior.  What is the trait behind being late?

Selfish?

Indulgant?

Flacky?
